As the project coordinator, CSIC is responsible for the overall management and coordination of EVOLVEPACK. They oversee all administrative, financial, and legal aspects of the project, ensuring smooth collaboration among partners and alignment with EU regulations.
CSIC also contributes to the development of biobased trays and aerogels and leads the WP5, focusing on biodegradation, compostability, and recyclability testing. Their work ensures that the packaging materials meet environmental standards and support a circular economy.

The University of Bourgogne leads WP3 and is involved in the development of biobased films, and active coatings, particularly focusing on the developmet of different strategies to apply the coating and the evaluation of the mechanical, thermal and barrier properties of the developed materials as well as the release of active compounds into food simulants.
